Lance Jackson

Funeral services for Mr. Lance David Jackson, age 22 of Rickman, were held Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Netherland Church of Christ. Interment followed in Netherland Cemetery. Bro. Mark Loftis and Dr. Donnie Holman officiated. His family received friends Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Lance died suddenly Saturday evening, January 30, 2021 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born October 24, 1998 in Cookeville, TN to David and Ginnie Lee Jackson. Hard working throughout his life, Lance worked with UPS for over three years. Lance was fun, fearless, and a friend to many people. His life was full of meaningful relationships-with his family, classmates, coworkers, PIKE brothers and lifelong friends. He attended Rickman Elementary School and was a 2017 graduate of Livingston Academy. After graduating, he attended Tennessee Tech University and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. Lance also enjoyed spending time outdoors especially at the lake. He loved animals and listening to music. Lance was a member of Netherland Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by infant twin brothers, Drew and Nick Jackson; and by paternal grandparents, Denton and Ova Jackson. In addition to his parents, Lance is survived by his brother, Will Jackson; sister, Maggie Jackson; maternal grandparents, Randy and Evelyn Lee; aunts and uncles, Jacob and Jessica Lee, Denny and Linda Jackson, Bob and Amanda Jackson and Kevin and Lisa Jackson; a host of cousins and extended family; and special friends, Myla Sells and Garrison Padgett. Garrison Padgett, Xander Miller, Ethan Reagan, Mitchell Ayers, Zach Huff, Chris Keen, Peter Hollars, Eli Estes and David Worley served as pallbearers.
