Larry Frieze

Funeral services for Mr. Larry Lee Frieze, age 73 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday October 1 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Williams officiating. Interment with Military Honors, will follow in Algood City Cemetery. Larry's family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. He died Thursday morning September 29, 2016 at Signature Health Care of Putnam County in Algood. Larry was born August 29, 1943 in Council Bluffs, IA to the late Clarence and Louise Moreland Frieze. Larry was a retired Diesel Mechanic in the Auto Industry. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Virginia, Lucy, and Dorothy Frieze, Darlene Walker, Gloria Christiansen, Violet Malone, and Scottie DeBolt; brothers, Harry, and Rachie Frieze. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Lola Stephens (whom he married May 6, 1967 in Council Bluffs, IA; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and April Frieze; grandchildren, Kaden and Katelyn Frieze all of Cookeville; two sisters, Betty Malone of Council Bluffs, IA, and Lavina Robinson of Seattle, WA; brothers, Tommy (Jackie) Frieze and Kent Frieze all of Council Bluffs, IA.
