Linda Phillips

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Anderson Phillips, age 77 of Cookeville, will be held Wednesday October 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Chaplain Mark Phillips and Dr. Jim McAfee will officiate. Interment will follow at Smith Chapel Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Phillips died Monday October 28, 2019 at Bailey Manor in Cookeville. She was born July 20, 1942 in Michigan to the late Lloyd and Tennie Harp Anderson. Linda was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church. She was employed at Fleetguard for many years. She was artistically gifted and enjoyed helping others entertain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Elzie Dee Phillips. She is survived by daughters, Darlene (Phil) Brannon of Jamestown and Valisha Sells of Sparta; sons, Mark (Regina) Phillips of Murfreesboro and Jason Phillips of Cookeville; brother, Harold Anderson of Cookeville; sister, Jane Anderson of Cookeville; grandchildren, Phillip (Kara) Brannon, Sherri Schmidt, Jacob (Hailey) Schmidt, Sarah (Jonathan) Odom, and Molly (Seth) Hodges; and great grandchildren, Amelia, Ava, Dailey, Kayden, Lyman and Tucker.
