Lizzie Ferguson

Funeral services for Lizzie Lester Ferguson, 88, of Lewisville, TX and formerly of Cookeville will be held Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Loftis officiating. Interment will follow in Netherland Church of Christ Cemetery in Rickman. The family will receive friends Friday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Ferguson passed away at Milestone Ridge Assisted Living in Lewisville on Saturday, March 24, 2012. She was born November 26, 1923 in Overton County, TN to the late Isaac Lester and Julia Florence Reels Hastings. She was a homemaker and a member of Lewisville Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Woodrow Wilson Ferguson (who died November 17, 2007); sister, Lillian Gragg; brother, James Walter Hastings; son-in-law, Ernest Baker and great grandson, Mark Murray. Mrs. Ferguson is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Ann McDaniel and her husband Charles of Lewisville, TX and Kathleen Faye Baker of Detroit, MI; six grandchildren, Julie Guza and husband Doug, Sandra McDaniel, Laura Clifton and husband Russell, Cindy Baker, Richard Baker and wife Theresa, Bill Baker and wife Kim; eight great-grandchildren, Heather, Caitie, Nathan, Kayla, Justin, Shianne, Reagan, an Drake; two great-great-grandchildren, Karlee and Jakob; a brother, Bob Hastings and his wife, Ruby of Rickman, a sister-in-law, Estelle Hastings of Rickman,and a brother-in-law, Larry Gragg of Rickman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
