Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Norris, 89 of Algood, will be held Tuesday December 3, at 10 am in the Algood Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Algood City Cemetery. Mrs. Norris died Saturday morning November 30, 2013 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born October 28, 1924 in Fentress County, Tennessee to the late Elijah William and Rosie Vall Whiteaker Cleghorn. She was a member of Algood United Methodist Church and was retired from the former Cookeville Shirt Factory. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dollen Curtis Norris; brother, Doyle Cleghorn and four sisters, Saralldia Roberts, Annie Threet, Violet Nelson, and Ozzie Norris. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Candace Norris of Algood; two daughters and a son-in-law, Dianna Walker of Rickman and Kathleen and Glen Russell of Algood; four grandchildren, Elizabeth (Douglas) Maxwell, Crystal (Matt Dishman), Tony Walker, and Michael Dolan Russell; seven great grandchildren, Eddie Walker, Sarah Cole, Tabathia Crabtree, Deborah Maxwell, Hadasah Maxwell, Brittany Dishman, and James Dishman; two great great grandchildren, Sierra Walker and Katrina Crabtree; brother, Donald (Betty) Cleghorn; and three sisters, Gladys Stover, Rozelle Dial and Gail Roberts all of Algood. Pallbearers will be Ben Cole, Tony Walker, Matt Dishman, Michael Dolan Russell, Denny Maynard, and Eddie Walker. Mrs. Norris's family will receive friends Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the Algood Chapel.
