Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Roberts 91 of the Silver Point Community, will be held Tuesday August 12 at 3 p.m.in the Baxter Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Palmer Cemetery. Bro Johnny Fox will officiate. Mrs. Roberts died Friday morning August 8, 2014. She was born November 18, 1922 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Robert P and Mary Wallace Palmer. She was a member of Herrens Chapel Church of Christ and retired from Fleetguard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth D Roberts; four sisters, Winnie Ashburn, Vinnie Lee Thomas, Allene Herron, and twin sister, Irene Palmer; and five brothers, Ernest Palmer, Thurman Palmer, Byron Lewis Palmer, John Byrd Palmer, and James Palmer. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Kelly Roberts SR of Cookeville; four grandchildren, Kenneth Roberts, JR, Lora Roberts, Jennifer (Patrick) Tommaso, and Jacob Roberts; five great grandchildren, Andrea, Aiden, Katie, Kal-El Tommaso, and Candi Greenwood; three great-great grandchildren, Paul, David, and McKinze Greenwood; sister, Dixie Helms of Baxter, brother, Jack (Sophia) Palmer of Highland, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful, devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who was loved by all. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Robert's family will received Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
