Marion Randolph

Funeral services for Mr. William Marion Randolph, also affectionately known as Rudolph, age 75, of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, June 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Rev. Kerry Higgins will officiate. Interment will follow at Stone Seminary Cemetery. His family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Randolph passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at NHC Healthcare, Cookeville. He was born October 2, 1943 in Cookeville to the late Clyde Lee and Mary Alice Bilbrey Randolph. He was a 1962 graduate of Cookeville Central High School. Mr. Randolph owned several businesses in the area and was later employed as a truck driver for over 15 years. He loved life and prioritized spending time with friends and family. He was kind, big hearted and enjoyed joking with others. He was a fan of Ford cars and enjoyed racing cars and time spent on the lake. He enjoyed sharing fresh fruits and vegetables with others from his garden each year. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jimmy Ray Randolph, David Randolph and Harold Lee Randolph; and by a sister, Ruth Ann Elder. He is survived by daughter Kelly Randolph Hooks and husband Phillip of Cookeville; grandchildren, Brandon Hooks and Kristen Hooks, sisters-in-law, Iva Randolph and Glenda Randolph and by many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Keith Randolph, Victor Fienthen, Jake Demps, Jeff Cantrell, Tyler Cantrell and Brandon Hooks will serve as pallbearers. His family wishes to express gratitude to Caris Hospice and NHC Healthcare, Cookeville for the excellent and loving care extended to him.
