Marissa Wilmoth

Funeral services for Marissa Lynnette Wilmoth, age 7, of Cookeville will be held Saturday, April 14 at 4 p.m. at Cookeville Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Terry Clem and Pastor Mario Cruz officiating. Interment will follow in Phillips Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 p.m. until service time at the church. Marissa died suddenly Tuesday evening, April 10, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born June 25, 2004 in Nashville, TN to Roger and Mary Alice Gaines Wilmoth of Cookeville. Marissa was a second grade student at Algood Christian Elementary School. She attended Cookeville Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a piano student, and loved being outdoors. Marissa always had a smile on her face. Marissa was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George and Martha Gaines. In addition to her parents, Marissa is survived by her twin sister, Juliana Wilmoth; three brothers, Bradley Wilmoth, Benjamin Wilmoth and Austin Wilmoth; her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Robbie Wilmoth all of Cookeville; two aunts, Vickie Wilmoth of Cookeville and Carolyn Wooton of Indianapolis, IN; and numerous cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Charles Hanson, Jeff Woodcock, Jon Murrell, Jeremy Stoner, Mike Stovall and Erik Riddle. Memorial contributions may be made to Algood Christian Elementary School, 2660 Hwy 111 N., Algood, TN 38506.
