Marlene Farish

Private family services were held for Marlene Marie Farish, age 88 of Cookeville, who passed away Sunday morning August 15, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Farish was born March 3, 1933 in Brockton, MA to the late James Hartman McKay and Edith Anice Barton McKay. She was retired special needs educator and enjoyed spending time with her birthday club friends, watching football, reading, solving puzzles and watching Jeopardy. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Flynn of Abington, MA; sons, Paul (Pam) Farish of Cookeville, Thomas (Dianna) Farish of Abington; granddaughters, Kate (Doug) Newman, Kelly (Jason) Halin, Samantha (Adam) Farish, Rhiana (Joey) Farish, Jacquelyn Farish, and Justine (Dustin) Malone; grandsons, Adam (Ellen) Knowlton, Thomas Farish, Nicolas Farish, and Justin Curtis; great grandchildren, Jacey Griffith, Davin Malone, Daylin Malone, Crockett Knowlton, Elinor Halin, Allee Stewart, and Preston Brummett; sister, Barbara (Bill) White; nieces, Jennifer Kettell and Chrisann (Greg) Hagerty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Farish; and grandson, Garrett Farish. Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
