Mary Bilbrey

Mrs. Mary Ruth Bilbrey, age 77, of Algood, passed away Sunday morning August 19, 2018 at NHC of Cookeville. Private funeral services and interment in Algood City Cemetery will be held at a later date. Mrs. Bilbrey was born January 10, 1941 in Cookeville, TN to the late James Earl Sr. and Sarah Randolph Cass. She worked for many years at Algood Elementary School. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thomas Bilbrey, who she married November 29, 1958; two sons, Jimmy (Mickey) Bilbrey of Algood, and Chip Bilbrey of Orlando, FL; two daughters, Tawnya Clark of Algood and Missy (Geoff) Morea of Fort Myers, FL; brother, Jerry (Connie) Cass of Cookeville; four sisters, Betty Bumbalough of Cookeville, Lavenia Cass of Clearwater Beach, FL, Carolyn (Gene) Whitley of Fort Myers Beach, FL, and Judy (Mike) Estes of Tuscaloosa, AL; four grandchildren, Josh, Alexx, Nick, and Noah; and great grandson, Grayson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Earl Cass Jr. Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
