Mary Elizabeth Vick

Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Vick, infant daughter of Landon and Kandice (White) Vick, will be held Saturday, February 23, at 11 a.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church in Algood, TN. Rev. Caleb Cangelosi will officiate and interment will follow in Reace Cemetery. Mary Elizabeth Vick was born January 7, 2013 in the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and died February 20, 2013 in the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. For 44 days this sweet baby girl was cherished by her parents, siblings, family, friends, and a host of others. Her short life was a blessing in the hands of the same God that now gives her rest. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Eva Grace Vick; three brothers, Malcolm Douglas Vick, John Baker Vick, and Henry Paul Vick all of Cookeville; and her grandparents, Jeff and Jinger White of Maryville, TN, Doug Vick, and Jesse and Peggy Hughes all of Columbia, TN; and her great-grandparents, Joe and Jan White of Maryville, TN, Martha Parkinson of Jackson, TN, and Mary Vick of Columbia, TN. Mary Elizabeth's family will receive friends Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes contributions to a memorial garden in Mary's honor.
