Mary L. Rhoton

Funeral Services for Mary L. Rhoton age 93 of Baxter, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Boiling Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday February 28, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Ms.Rhoton died Friday, February 25, 2011 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born July 11, 1917 in Detroit MI. to the late Peter and Anna Bier Della Morretta. Mrs. Rhoten was a member of the Samaria Church of Christ. Ms. Mary is survived by her son; Pete (Wanda) Rhoton of Cookeville. Four daughters; Frances Jones, Louise Miniard both of Cookeville. Patricia Nash (Stanton) of Baxter and Mary Jane Loftis (Tim) of Maiden NC, and one sister; Louise Guillia of MI. She is also survived by grandchildren: Amanda Luffman, Jeremy (Amber) Jones, Ben Jones, Tabitha Miniard, Richard (Beth) Nash, Christy (D.D.) Tennant, Lacy (Seth) Daniels, Vanessa Loftis and great-grandchildren Bailey Nash, Mason Nash, Chloe Tennant and Cameron Jones. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Clovis E. Rhoton, one Sister Rene Wayna, a brother Art Della Morretta. A grandson Joshua Miniard and one grandson–in-law Sam Luffman. Bros. Ralph Dunn and Phil Martin will officiate the service.
