Maxine Phillips

Funeral services for Pearl Maxine Phillips, age 91 of Cookeville, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday December 28 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Matt McClanahan will officiate. Interment will follow at Smith Chapel Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Phillips passed away Saturday December 25, 2021 at NHC of Cookeville. She was born February 15, 1930 in White County, TN to the late Howard and Bennie Tays Cole. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Mt. Union United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lynnda Phillips Anulies; niece, Patsy (Richard) Radcliffe, cousins, Jimmy Freeman, Charles Freeman, and Donnie (Debbie) Tays. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Phillips; son-in-law, Bernard Anulies, brother, Paul Cole.
