Mr. Eulas Smith

Funeral Services for Mr. Eulas Smith, age 88, of Cookeville, will be Monday, November 09, 2015 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday, November 9 from9:00 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery in Moss TN. Mr. Smith passed away peacefully at his home and surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 7, 2015. Eulas was born August 17, 1927 in Moss TN to the late Silkirk Smith and Maggie Beason Smith. He was retired from Arvin Muffler Systems after thirty five years of service and enjoyed being a loving father and grandfather. Survivors include two daughters; Debra Scott (husband Robert) of Cookeville and Lana Smith of Nashville, as well as two sisters; Winnie McClaren of Moss TN and Hattie Strong of Celina TN, and one grandson; Joshua Scott of Cookeville. Mr. Smith is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by three brothers; Frances, Allen and Walter, as well as five sisters; Sidney, Ova, Pearl, Linda, and Bessie. Bro. Mark Gaw will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
