Mrs. Joey Mansell

Funeral services for Mrs. Joey Helen Conner Mansell, age 69, of Cookeville, will be at 1 p.m Saturday April 28 at Dyer Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Loftis officiating. Interment will follow at Barnes Cemetery in Overton County. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 - 8 p.m and again Saturday from 11 a.m until service time. Mrs. Mansell passed away Tuesday evening April 24, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born June 18, 1948 in Putnam County, TN to the late Willard Edgar and Mildred Pauline Smith Conner. She was formerly employed at Days Inn and Holiday Inn in housekeeping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Mansell; infant brother, Jerry Conner; and infant sister, Janice Lou Conner. She is survived by her son, Terry Mansell of Rickman; two daughters, Angie (Tim) Burton of Silver Point and Sherry Gosnell of Rickman; brother, Joe Conner of Rickman; three sisters, Joan (Rob) Zehring of Sparta, Janet Watson of Rickman, Jannie (Donnie) Lynn of Algood; three grandchildren, Nicholas Gosnell, Krista Marie Davis, and Jade Mansell; and three great-grandchildren, Carmen Hayes, Tasia Keeton, and Elizabeth Simpson.
