Mrs. Jonnie Claudine Smallwood

Graveside services for Mrs. Jonnie Claudine Smallwood, age 49, of Cookeville, will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 1:00p.m. in the Phillips Cemetery in the Anderson Community of Monterey. Jonnie passed peacefully Saturday, April 9, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends. Jonnie was born June 6, 1966 in Monterey to the late Fred Murphy and Tennie Vaughn Murphy. Jonnie was a kind spirited person who enjoyed her family and friends. Survivors include her two sons, Joseph and Jonathon Smallwood of Cookeville. One sister, Linda Clark of Cookeville and one brother, Ernest Murphy also of Cookeville. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews and friends. Jonnie is also survived by a close and dear friend, Kathy Cobbett of Cookeville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Roger Dale Murphy and sisters, Anna Dean Chapman and Rowena Fusburger, niece Amanda Lynn Smith, and brother-in-law Gary Clark. Rev. Mike Maden will officiate the service. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Dyer Funeral Home.
