Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Kathleen Flatt, age 90 of Cookeville, will be held Thursday July 10 at 11 a.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in Browns Mill Cemetery. Mrs. Flatt died suddenly July 7, 2014 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1924 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Bevy and Pearlie Mae Finley Clouse. She was a member of Caney Fork Baptist Church and retired from Delman's/McCord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claudia R. Flatt. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Etta Eugenia and David Galloway of Farragut, TN, and Nancy Flatt of Cookeville; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Rev. Russell and Dorothy Flatt, Rodney Flatt and fiancée Molly Brown all of Cookeville, and Raymond and Teresa Flatt of Pleasant View, TN; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brother, Obey Gene Clouse of Dayton, OH; and sister, Isabell (Doug) Conley of Cookeville. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
