Nancy Laverne Mcclain

Mrs. Nancy Laverne McClain, age 74, of Cookeville, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born February 20, 1936 in Vernon, Indiana to the late John and Mable Smith Poole. Mrs. McClain was of the Nazarene Faith. Nancy prepared taxes with H&R Block, and is survived by her husband Fred McClain; three children—Sandra Lee (Roger) Creamer, of Columbus, Indiana—Duane David (Brenda Kay) Holmes, of Greenwood, Indiana—Fred Thomas (Penny) McClain Jr., of Columbus, Indiana. She is survived by four grandchildren; Thomas Creamer, of Columbus, Indian—Timothy (Shannon) Creamer, of Columbus, Indiana—Sara Jan (Joshua) Johnson, of Dearborn, Michigan—Samantha Jo (William) Giles, of Greenwood, Indiana. Mrs. McClain is also survived by four great-grandchildren—Brittany, Trey and Conner Creamer and Eva Rose Giles. She was preceded in death by two sisters—Mary Catherine Poole and Edith May Poole. The family has chosen Cremation. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in her hometown of North Vernon, Indiana.
