Nokie Julian

Graveside services and interment for Glenda Nokie Julian, age 72 of Cookeville, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday December 2 at Cunningham Cemetery. Pastor Mark Gaw will officiate. Nokie passed away Monday morning November 30, 2020 at her home. She was born April 14, 1948 in Cookeville to the late Guy and Geneva Gilliam Farris. Nokie or Mema, as she was affectionately known, had a loving and caring spirit. Always putting others first, she would often go without to let someone else have what they needed. Mema was a gracious woman of faith who loved God and her family with her whole heart. She helped younger women know how to love and honor their husbands. It was an honor to know and love her. She is survived by her husband, Donnie Julian; children, Shawn (Tamara) Julian; Greg (Kim) Julian; Stacy (Marisa) Julian; brothers, Gary (Patsy) Farris and Mike (Pam) Farris; sister-in-law, Debbie Kirby Farris; brother-in-law, Roger (Debbie) Julian; grandchildren, Clint (Britin) Julian, Lexie (TC) Capps, Paige (Jackson) White, Bud (Rita) Julian, Abby Julian, Libby Julian, Shelby Clement, Lance (Kacey) Vickers, and Lee (Taylor) Sanders; great grandchildren, Bo Capps, Axton Julian, Farris White, Tate Capps, Brynlee Vickers, Beckett Sanders, and James Julian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Farris; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Hattie Mae Julian; and many loved ones. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Mustard Seed Ranch, 4725 Kuykendall Rd, Cookeville, TN 38501.
