A celebration of life for Pamela Ford Pulley, age 60 of Lebanon TN will be held at Dyer Funeral Home on Sunday May 22, 2011. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a grave-side service following at West Cemetery. Pamela was born January 13, 1951 in Detroit MI to Nettie Grimes Ford and the late James “Chuck” Ford. She was a graduate of Cookeville High School and Tennessee Tech University where she majored in Medical Technology. She completed her medical technology internship at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. On September 16, 1971 she married Don Pulley of Nashville. Pamela was a Christian of the Baptist Faith. She worked as a laboratory supervisor at Summit Medical Center and St. Thomas Hospital and most recently was a supervisor at PathGroup Labs in Nashville. Mrs. Pulley is survived by her husband Don Pulley; daughters Allison Hooper Weeks (Chris) and Jessica Pryer (Daniel); Grandchildren Elizabeth Pulley, Kayla Hooper, Ty Hooper and Cole Pryer, all of Lebanon, her mother Nettie Ford of Cookeville and sisters Deborah Crunk of Nashville, Kim Murphy (Jim) of Sparta and Karen Joyce (John) of Cookeville. Pamela was preceded in death by her father James “Chuck “Ford and her brother James Robert (Bobby) Ford. Bro. John Davis will officiate at the service. It was Pam’s request that memorial donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Middle TN where a memorial fund has been established in her name to benefit research for ALS.
