Funeral services for Pamela Jean Bryant, age 49, of Cookeville, will be held Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the West Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and from 1:00 p.m. until time to the service on Sunday. Pamela passes away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. She was born July 23, 1963 in Morgantown, West Virginia to Hubert Stout and Martha Louise Nester Varney. Mrs. Bryant was a member of the Scott Avenue Baptist Church where she had served as Youth Director and Vacation Bible School Director as well as a member of the Choir. She enjoyed camping and doing yard work but most of all spending time with her family. Pamela had worked for Cracker Barrell for twenty four years before her illness. She lived by her favorite Bible verse, “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me!” Mrs. Bryant is survived by her husband Robbie Bryant of Cookeville; two children, Anthony Lee Strahin (wife Angel) of Lebanon TN and Stephenie Riddle (husband Matthew) of Cookeville; two grandchildren; Shadow and Santana and her mother and step father, Martha and Bobby Varney of Baxter and her father Hubert Leroy Stout of Kingwood, West VA. Pamela is also survived by four sisters; Penny (Brandon) Pyles of Roseburg, West Virginia, Tina Stout of Algood, Connie and Paula Varney of Brunswick Ohio; and three brothers, Michael (Sue) Stout of Masontown, West Virginia; Perry Stout of West Virginia; and Bobby Stout of Rickman TN. She is also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donnie and Joyce Bryant of Cookeville, her mother-in-law, Sarah Ellen Bryant, as well as many brothers and sisters in Christ, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Pamela was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Randolph, her brother, Harry Stout, and a step sister, Tauna Pogue as well as her grandparents. Bro. Mickey Leftwich will be conducting the services.
