Rachel Irene DeVillanueva, 34, of Baxter, TN, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Rachel was born May 20, 1980 in Cookeville, TN, to Roy Wayne, Sr. and Rachel Louise Cannon. A lifelong member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Cookeville, TN, Rachel passionately volunteered in the Children’s Ministry since a young age. She is survived by her husband, Michael Anthony DeVillanueva of Baxter, TN: Her parents, Roy and Rachel Cannon of Cookeville, TN. Brothers: Roy Cannon, Jr. and wife Kirsten of Livingston,TN, David Cannon, Joe Cannon and his wife Jaclyn, all of Cookeville, TN: Grandmother, Jewell Cannon of Baxter, TN, several nieces, nephews and a multitude of Aunts and Uncles. Rachel was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, R.D. Williams and Ellen Marie Golden, and her paternal grandfather, George Ray Cannon. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, May 4, 2015 at the First United Pentecostal Church, 875 S. Walnut Ave, Cookeville, TN with Ron Phillips and Tim Milligan officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Baxter, TN. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Dyer Funeral Home in Cookeville, TN and again Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Church. Pallbearers will be Richard Courtney, Austin Breedlove, Shannon Elrod, Roy Cannon, Joe Cannon, David Cannon, Steve Moggo, and Sean Sullivan. Arrangements by Dyer Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to them as well.
