Funeral Services for Reba “Lorell” Massa, age 80, of Cookeville will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Boiling Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Boiling Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 8 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at Boiling Springs Baptist Church. Lorell died Tuesday April 5, 2011 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Massa was born September 7, 1930 in Putnam County, TN to the late Byrd Sherrell and Lou Ann Lafever Sherrell. She was a member of the Boiling Springs Baptist Church. Lorell was a homemaker and retired from Red Cap Industries. She also enjoyed sewing as was an expert seamstress and was loved by all that knew her. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Tindle Cole (Barbs Tax Service) and a son David Massa, both of Cookeville. Also surviving are five grandchildren Anthony Tindle of Baxter, Angela Tindle of Cookeville Leanna George of Mt. Airy NC, Jessica Cole of Cookeville and Jennifer Cole of Sparta as well as thirteen great grandchildren Matthew Richardson, Ava Tindle, Justin Tindle, Isaiah Sanchez, Javier Torres, Marcelino Torres, Jessica George, Andrew George, Justin George, Leanna Lee, Jordon Cole, Patrick Carr and Patricia Carr. Lorell is also survived by one great-great granddaughter Anniyha Lee and three great-great grandsons. Mrs. Massa was preceded in death by her husband Shelia Massa, two brothers Carlos Sherrell and Curtis Sherrell, two sisters Adell Dunn and Audrie Delaney, a son-in-law Jesse Cole, and two nephews Terry Lee Delaney and Jeffery Dunn. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Bro. Tracy Gross and Bro. Joe Ramsey will be conducting the services
