Robert Charles Greer

Memorial Services for Mr. Robert Charles Greer, age 60, of Cookeville, will be Thursday evening, October 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Colonial View Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until time of the service. Mr. Greer entered into rest Friday, October 4, 2013 following a brief illness. Robert was born June 18, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles and Joan Boutin Greer. He and his wife, Janet, moved to Cookeville after retiring from DHL as a truck driver in California, and he was a member of the Colonial View Baptist Church. Robert was also a veteran of United States Army and had served during the Vietnam era. Robert is survived by his wife Janet, as well as two brothers; Ron Greer of California and John Greer of Las Vegas, Nevada. Bro. Al Gaspard will conduct the Memorial Service. The family has requested Memorial Contributions be made to the Colonial View Building Fund in memory of Robert’s life and dedication to the Church.
