Funeral services for Mr. Robert "Bob" Lynell Hamrick, age 95 of Winder, GA and formerly of Cookeville will be held Thursday November 2 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Jim Moore will officiate. Bob died Sunday morning October 29, 2017 at his home. He was born September 16, 1922 in Cherry Valley, AR to the late Dave and Essie Mae Miller Hamrick. Bob was a U. S. Navy Veteran and retired from Ford Motor Company. He was of the Church of God Faith and while living in Cookeville attended Trinity Assembly in Algood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Barr and Elanor Walker; four brothers, Jerry, Willie, Alvie, and Gene Hamrick; two step-children, Mickey Croy and Tina Weygandt. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Dorothy Constance Vaughn Hamrick; children, Teresa Huff of Newark, AR, Tammie Croy of Winder, GA, two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren; and his brother, Charles Hamrick of Higden, AR.
