Funeral services for Mr. Robert "Rob"� Paul Whittaker, 83 of Cookeville will be held Tuesday February 12 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Nolan Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Point Cemetery. Mr. Whittaker died Saturday morning February 9, 2013 at Masters Healthcare in Algood. He was born January 17, 1930 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late John and Altie Whiteaker Whittaker. Mr. Whittaker was a retired farmer and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Whittaker; and two sisters, Elizabeth Whittaker and Callie Jackson. He is survived by two sisters, Ruth Phillips of Dayton, Ohio and Myrtle (Kenny ) Boles of Cookeville; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
