Ronnie Riddle

Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Dale Riddle, age 55 of Monterey, will be held Tuesday, February 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Welch Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Ted Stepp, Dr. Martin Hotle, Rev. David Cobb will officiate. Mr. Riddle's family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Riddle died Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Ronnie was born October 25, 1962 in Monterey the to the late Fred and Girlie Marie Vaughn Riddle. A graduate of Monterey High School and Tennessee Tech University, Ronnie was employed at Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency in the Crossville office as a dispatcher for emergency calls for wildlife officers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and any time spent outdoors. Ronnie's life is a testimony of a loving, Christian, and family-oriented man. He was a hard worker who enjoyed helping others. He was a lifelong member of the Monterey Wesleyan Church and served on the church trustee board. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Doyle Riddle. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Barbara Tucker Riddle; sons, Jonathan Blake Heady-Riddle and wife Danielle and Billy Dewayne Riddle; daughter, Amber Anna Marie Riddle, all of Monterey; brothers, Bill (Joyce) Riddle, Fred Riddle and Jack (Lori) Riddle, all of Cookeville; sisters, Linda Barnaby, Treva (Robert) Boatman and Mary Heady; many nieces and nephews, and by beloved mother-in-law, Opal ‘Ma Tucker', Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Ronnie's family to assist with final expenses. Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (931)839-2266.
