Ruby Clemons Jones

Funeral service for Mrs. Ruby Clemons Jones, 69, of Silver Point will be held Saturday, July 21 at 10 a.m. in the Baxter Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in G.V. Herren Family Cemetery. Bro. Johnny Fox and Bro. John Whitson will officiate. Mrs. Jones died Thursday morning, July 19, 2012 at her home. She was born January 19, 1943 in Putnam County, TN to the late Everett and Tavy Brown Clemons. Mrs. Jones was a member of Silver Point Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Upperman High School and was owner and operator of Rose Garden Restaurant in Silver Point. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Jones on July 15, 2003, brother, Alpha Clemons and sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Osteen (Jiggs)Wallace. Mrs. Jones is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Heather Jones of Cookeville; three grandchildren, Spence and Blake Jones and Alyson Bain; two brothers and a sisters-in-law, Fred and Teresa Clemons and Clyde and Lois Clemons all of Silver Point; sister and brother-in-law, Daisy and Larry Davis of Las Vegas, NV. The family will receive friends Friday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kenny Clemons, Osteen Wallace, David Clemons, Jeremiah Jones, Tory Dix and Heath Hamilton.
