Selena Shellenbarger

Selena Martha Shellenbarger, age 20 of Cookeville, passed away suddenly Saturday May 30, 2020. She was born March 3, 2000 in Cookeville to Sherrie Allen Shellenbarger of Cookeville and the late Fredrick John Shellenbarger Jr. Selena was a daughter, sister, and amazing friend. She was fierce, she was silly, and her smile was contagious. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister, Shayna Shellenbarger; grandfather, Raymond Thompson; and aunt, Cindy Cowan, all of Cookeville. Special family members, Josh and Megan Elandt, of Newnan, GA. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Frances Allen Thompson; grandfather, Fred Shellenbarger Sr; and grandmother, Nancy Lowry Shellenbarger. Friends and family are invited to come by Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home Thursday June 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to sign the guest book and pay their respects. Funeral services will begin Thursday at 1 p.m. Rev. Fabron Nicholson and Rev. Dow Allen will officiate. Due to Covid-19 precautions, social distance measures will be observed.
