Sherry Bryant

It is with great sadness that the family of Sherry Lynne Bryant (Steward), announce her passing after a long-term illness on November 28th, 2018, at the age of 54 years. She is survived by her parents Bobby Elmer Steward and Ora Ann Steward (Mahan), her children Krystal, Amanda, Kevin and wife Stephanie, her brothers and sisters Rayda and husband Mike, Greg, Jared and wife Tonya, Bryde, Brandon and wife Rosie, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and her very best friend Denise Padgett. A viewing service in memory of Sherry will be held on Sunday, December 2nd, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Dyer Funeral Home, 798 S Willow Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501. The funeral service will be held on Monday December 3rd, 2018, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 981 S Walnut Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501, with Bishop Jim Reed officiating. The service starts at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the family plot at Lafever Cemetery, immediately followed by a luncheon back at the church at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be sent and made out to Amanda Bryant 2150 Steward Rd Cookeville, TN 38506. A foundation is being created to raise funds, awareness, and research for calciphylaxis. Sherry’s fervent wish was to continue helping others who also suffer with this disease. Though she will be missed, she is pain free and can find joy now. Sherry found joy in life in the most amazing ways and particularly with planning events.
