Steve York

Memorial services for Mr. Steve York, 52 of Allen, Texas, and a former long-time resident of Monterey & Cookeville will be held Sunday, June 24 at 2 p.m. at Knights Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Taylor and Rev. Mike Gillock officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the church. Mr. York died suddenly Friday June 1, 2012 in Texas after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born February 21, 1960 in Cumberland County to Mrs. Betty York of Cookeville and the late Johnie York. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Rachel & Brett Bubela; granddaughter, Tatum Bubela all of Allen, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Rex & Barbara York of Farming, TX; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte & Dale Bussell of Shelbyville, TN and Cindy & Randy Loftis of Cookeville; and several nieces and nephews.
