Memorial services for Timothy Jon Callahan, age 64, of Murfreesboro and formerly of Monterey, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday January 23 at Horner Funeral Home in Monterey. Marty Valaitis will officiate. His family will receive friends Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time. Tim passed away Sunday January 19, 2020. He was born June 26, 1955 In Midwest City, OK to the late Cecil Warren and Virginia Dean Hall Callahan. Tim was a member of the Monterey Church of the Nazarene. He was a residential real estate appraiser for over 32 years. He owned and operated Central South Appraisal in Murfreesboro. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jane Fields Callahan; son, Benjamin Warren Callahan of Nashville; daughter, Sarah Kathleen Callahan of Nashville; granddaughter, Madelyn Kathleen Tidwell; sister, Amy Callahan Martin of Monterey; five brothers, Mike (Joy) Callahan of Monterey, Greg Callahan Of Monterey, Mark (Delores) Callahan Of Sparta, Jeff (Kathy) Callahan Of Cookeville, and Luke (Denise) Callahan Of Spring Hill, TN; brother-in-law, Delton (Janet) Fields Jr. of Cookeville; along with several nieces nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Brandon Lee Callahan; sister-in-law, Jessie Callahan; and brother-in-law, Robert "Bubba" Martin.
