The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with service to follow. Michael passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at his home. He was a loving young man and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Carthage. Michael loved music, was a beautiful singer and played the guitar. He played sports in High School and was a Three Sport Letterman playing basketball, baseball and golf. He loved his daughter so much and she had been the major impact of his life. She would always ask for him before bedtime and they would tell each other they loved each other and then she would say a prayer for her 'daddy.' Michael loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and especially working in his garden. He was a Baptist and many people would be surprised at what he knew concerning the bible and his faith that he had in Jesus Christ. He loved people and especially his family while living with them some 34 yrs. Closeness was his belief. He always said he was a 'momma's boy' and a 'daddly's buddy.' Mr. Bilyeu is survived by his daughter, Serenity Faith Bilyeu and his parents “Mickey” William Michael Bilyeu Sr. and Pamela Heitt Bilyeu. He is also survived by his sister, Amy Jent of Lafayette TN and his brother, Ryan Kirby (wife Denise) of Lascasass TN as well as an uncle and aunt, Larry and Donna Heitt of Burns TN.
