DYER CHAPEL-Aaron Joseph Borden, age 38, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at his home in Cookeville, Tennessee. Born on June 3, 1987, in Crossville, Tennessee, Aaron's life was one of dedication and kindness, providing a positive influence on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his loving family, which includes his mother, Joyce Mahler Borden of Cookeville, and his brother, James Mark Borden of Cookeville; sisters, Janet Wheeler of Cookeville, Julie Borden of Cookeville, and Jenny Shoemaker of Goodlettsville, also cherish his memory. Additionally, he leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews, Merry (Cody) Hawke, Nova Hawke, and Jacob Wheeler, who will always remember their uncle with love.
Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Borden, and his sister, Sharlene Borden-Gladstone.
A gathering of friends and family to honor Aaron's life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Dyer Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home at 798 S. Willow Ave. in Cookeville from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Friends, family, and all who knew him are invited to come together to celebrate his life followed by a celebration of life at Casa Grande Restaurant at 429 S Jefferson Ave, Cookeville.

Aaron Joseph Borden will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and unwavering support for those around him. His legacy will continue to thrive in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever hold his memory dear.
