Alice Jackson

Funeral services for Alice Swain Jackson, 64, of Dickson and formerly of Cookeville, will be held Sunday, September 9 at 4:30 p.m. from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Zach Goodwin will officiate at the services Mrs. Jackson died Wednesday, September 5 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. She was born March 10, 1948 in Asheville, NC to Nina Swain of Lebanon and the late Jack Swain. She was a mother and grandmother to many people. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donnie Jackson of Dickson and Jackie (Marianne) Jackson of Fairview, TN; one daughter and son- in-law, Donna (Fay) Finch of White Bluff; one brother, Jackie Swain of Lebanon, one sister, Lynn Swain of Murfreesboro; two grandchildren, Faith and Marisa Jackson. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Harold Jackson. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
