Bessie Whiteaker

A memorial service for Miss Bessie Whiteaker, 87, of Cookeville will be held Monday, February 4, at 5 pm from the Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later date at Highland Cemetery in Sparta. Miss Whiteaker died Tuesday morning, January 29 in Bethesda Health Care Center. She was born February 5, 1925 in White County to the late George Thomas and Sally Cox Whiteaker and also preceded in death by her sister Nannie Whiteaker and brother, Alfred Whiteaker. She enjoyed quilting and farming. There are no immediate survivors. Miss Whiteaker"�s friends and family will visit Monday from 4 p.m. until service time.
