Betty Clinton

Betty Deloise Clinton, 55 of Cookeville, passed away Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021 at her home. Memorial services were planned for a later date. Betty was born March 10, 1965 in Detroit to the late Tommy Loyd and Judy Deloise Comstock Chilton. She was preceded in death by mother, Judy and step-father Ralph Chilton; son, Matthew Tinsley; grandson, Elijah Tinsley. She was a former presser with Houromatic of Cookeville. She enjoyed the outdoors, being with family and friends. Betty fought a hard battle against cancer, she still won going home in victory. Survivors include daughter Jessica (Donald) Anderson of Cookeville, step-mother Janet Scott of Cookeville, sisters Marsha Clinton of Carthage, Amber Chilton of Dodson Branch, Jennifer Scott (Steven) Walker of Cookeville, nieces and nephews: Samantha, Bobby and Ronnie Reynolds all of Carthage, Adriahna and Serenity Hammons.
