Brad Allen Pettijohn, known affectionately as Brad to his friends and family, passed away peacefully at his residence in Cookeville, TN, on January 8, 2024, at the age of 52. Born on July 7, 1971, in Wooster, OH, Brad brought joy and light into the lives of those around him from the very beginning.
Brad's life was marked by his compassionate spirit and dedication to helping others. He spent many years as a substance rehabilitation counselor, where his impact on the lives of those he helped cannot be overstated. His work not only showcased his professional commitment but also his deep personal dedication to service and kindness.
Brad's interests were as vibrant and engaging as his personality. He had an unwavering love for the music and artistry of Prince, a passion that was a source of joy and inspiration throughout his life. His love for music was infectious, and it often served as a bridge, connecting him with others who shared his enthusiasm.
Those who knew Brad would describe him as interesting and friendly, a man who could easily light up a room with his presence and whose friendship was a cherished gift. His unique ability to make every individual he met feel seen and valued was a testament to his character.
Brad is survived by his loving partner, Harvey Holloway; an abundance of siblings, and many friends he made that will miss his warmth, humor, and generous spirit.
A service to celebrate Brad's life will be held at a later date.
