Brady Bush

COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Brady Todd Bush, age 53 of Cookeville, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at his Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born September 17, 1972, in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Brady brought joy to everyone who knew him with his infectious smile and playful spirit.

Brady is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Bush; his mother and stepfather, Susan and Ron Coleman; his children, Steele Bush and Megan Alexander Bush; his brother, Brian Litchford and wife, Jenny; his grandchildren, Tillie and Marlow Milligan; and his special sisters, Patricia Harris and Tamika Parker.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Bush.

Brady was known for his outgoing personality, quick wit, and unmistakable smile. He was a natural jokester and entertainer who could always bring laughter to a room. When friends and family gathered, Brady was often the host, making sure everyone was having a good time and creating memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.

A graduate of Goodpasture High School, Brady loved sports and proudly played on the school's football, baseball and basketball teams. He was voted most athletic in High School. He later attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville before beginning a successful career in the automotive industry. Brady worked as an executive manager at Nissan dealerships throughout Middle Tennessee.

Always looking for his next adventure, Brady became an entrepreneur alongside his wife, Lisa, and together they opened House of Vin-Tique, an antique shop that reflected their shared interests and entrepreneurial spirit.

Brady loved to travel, enjoyed music, and most of all, loved spending time with the people who meant the most to him. His laughter, smile, humor, and larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Fall Creek Falls State Park (shelter #4 in the village area) on Saturday August 29 from 2 - 4 p.m.. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Brady's life, share memories, and honor the joy he brought to so many.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Brady’s name to a charity of your choice that supports community and family.
