Brenda Cayton

Brenda Louise Cayton, age 55 of Monterey, passed away Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. No services were planned. Brenda was born August 4, 1965 in Red Bluff, CA to the late Eugene Cayton and Mary Jo Brown Cayton. She is survived by three daughters, Darlene (Vergie) Seese of Dickinson, ND, Mary Coen of Modesto, CA, and Cotie Cayton of Modesto, CA; two sisters, Charlotte (Richard) Edwards of Sedalia, CA and Karla Watson of Pleasanton, KS; four brothers, Preston (Doris) Cayton of Kingsville, MO, Danny (Regina) Powell of Monterey, Ed Powell of Yuba City, CA, and Dustin (Cassie) Cayton of Hermitage, MO; her stepmom, Joyce Cayton; grandchildren, Andrew and Camille Tatum, and Julien Ballew; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Powell; and two brothers, Jell Cayton and Bill Powell. Dyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
