COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Brent McKinley Peek, a beloved son, father, and friend, passed away on Saturday March 21, 2026, at his residence in Cookeville, Tennessee. Born on July 13, 1974, in Cookeville, Brent’s life was deeply rooted in the community he cherished.
Brent worked as an operations manager at City Electric Supply, where his hardworking nature contributed significantly to the company’s success. Beyond his professional achievements, Brent was known for his giving spirit and genuine kindness, qualities that defined both his personal and professional relationships.
Known for his giving nature, sharp sense of humor, Brent touched the lives of many around him. His love for life was reflected not only in his dedication to his family but also in his passions. Brent enjoyed fishing, the thrill of motocross biking, and was an aficionado of Ford vehicles. He found joy and peace camping outdoors, embracing the beauty of nature whenever possible.
Brent was most proud of the love he had for his children, a commitment and devotion that defined much of his life’s purpose. He is survived by his daughters, Ally Ward and her husband Jake of Lebanon, Tennessee, and Lauren Peek of Cookeville, as well as his son, Tyler Peek, also of Cookeville. He is also survived by his loving parents, Thomas and Sharon Peek of Cookeville, who raised him with values that shaped his character and outlook on life; and his brothers, Kevin Peek and his wife Jennifer and Bryan Peek.
A celebration of life to honor Brent will be held at 3 p.m on Saturday April 18 at Washington Avenue Baptist Church. Pastor Mark Gaw will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 - 3 p.m.
Brent McKinley Peek’s legacy is one of generosity, humor, and dedication. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, his memory cherished deeply by his family and friends.
