BAXTER-Graveside service and interment for Carolyn Terry Roberts, 74 of Silver Point will be Tuesday, September 19 at 1 PM at Smellage Memory Gardens in the Boma Community of Putnam County. Pastor Ted Kocher will officiate. Mrs. Roberts died Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 27, 1942 in the Sparta, TN to the late William and Jessie Phifer Burgess. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 60 years (Married September 6, 1957 in Rossville, GA) Avery Roberts of Silver Point, son and daughter-in-law Travis and Melissa Roberts of Cookeville, sister and brother-in-law Sherry Lee and Karl Meyers of Sparta, grandchildren: Merisa Roberts and Patton Hite. Family will receive friends at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM Monday, family and friends will gather at the cemetery for the graveside service.
