Casey Bell

Funeral services for Casey Bell, age 76 of Cookeville, will be at 2 p.m. Monday December 19 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Rev Tony Barnett will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow at Cookeville City Cemetery.

His family will receive friends Monday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Casey passed away suddenly Wednesday December 14, 2022 at his home.

He was born December 12, 1946 in Parnell, KY to the late Woodrow Wilson Bell and Marie Southwood Bell.

Casey was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the US Air Force. He was retired from Ford Motor Company after a 40 year career at Louisville, KY.

Casey became a Christian on Christmas day in 1990. He faithfully volunteered and served as the director at Morgantown Mission in Morgantown, KY. After moving to Cookeville he was a member of Life Church. Casey was an avid outdoorsman. he loved to hunt, fish, play basketball and cornhole.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lynn Key Bell; two daughters, Dottie (Eddie) Wade of Glasgow, KY and Debbie (Richard) Loftis of Cookeville; two sons, Garnett (Kim) Anderson of Glasgow and Garrett (Beverly) Anderson of Morgantown; sister, Lila Maple of Louisville; eight grandchildren, Bobby Wade, Derek Loftis, Casey (Megan) Loftis, Candy (Lee) Spears, Terri (Johnny) Teague, Brandi (Jonathan) Blanchard, Brian Anderson, and Tiffany Anderson (George Furman); and fourteen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Carl, Aaron, Bob, Sam, and Mack Bell; two sisters, Brenda Sears and Sara Lindsey; two granddaughters, Cindy Wade and Malena Barrick.
