COOKEVILLE CHAPEL-Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Colleen Logan, former longtime resident of both Byrdstown and Jamestown, age 79, will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Smyrna Cemetery in Byrdstown, TN.

Colleen passed away on September 27, 2026, at Grandview Post Acute. She was born on November 7, 1946, in Albany, Kentucky, and will be remembered as a loving and caring woman whose life was centered on faith, family, and service to others.

A 1965 graduate of Pickett County High School, Colleen built a life marked by steady devotion and hard work. She worked as a seamstress, was a devoted homemaker, and also spent time providing childcare. In each of these roles, she gave of herself with patience and generosity, offering care and support to those around her. A longtime resident of Byrdstown and Jamestown, she was grounded in her Methodist faith and was known as a good Christian woman whose supportive nature touched many lives.

Colleen found great joy in the simple and lasting gifts of family life. She loved photography and scrapbooking, carefully documenting family memories that will continue to be treasured for years to come. She especially cherished spending quality time with her loved ones. Among her proudest blessings was being “Ge Ge” to her grandchildren, a role she embraced with deep love and delight.

She is survived by her son, Richard Logan, and his wife, Tammie; her daughter, Margaret Copeland; her brother, Jeff Crouch; her grandchildren, Jeremiah (Brinna) Copeland, Kaitlin (Adam) Smith, and Luke Logan; her great-grandchildren, Amalie Copeland, Rhodes Copeland, Wrenley Smith, and Emberleigh Smith; and her nieces, Jeanetta Barton and Erin Mekkaoui. She leaves behind a family who will remember her warmth, her caring spirit, and the many ways she made a house into a home and moments into cherished memories.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gideon Crouch; her mother, Arzie Abbott Crouch; her husband of 61 years, Orbin D. Logan; her son, Michael Logan; her grandson, Jack Copeland; her sister, Eva Sue Barton; and her nephew, Tyler Crouch. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
