COOKEVILLE-Connie Betty Huddleston Pointer Norton Maffett, 94, of Cookeville TN, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025. Connie was born on July 15th, 1931, in Cookeville, TN to Beulah and Perry Huddleston. She was the youngest of 7 amazing brothers and sisters. Even though Connie was married multiple times, her most joyous time was spent with the love of her life, Minthorne “Min” Day Norton. Connie had two amazing children during her first marriage to Thomas Pointer. During her marriage to Min, she had one child. Connie loved to paint and collect Navajo and other tribe relics. She loved photography and even had images published in the local newspaper while she lived in Nevada. She also loved to spoil her grandchildren.
Connie is survived by her son Keith Pointer of Cookeville, TN; her daughter Annette Jensen-Patterson (and the late Fred Jensen and the late James Patterson) of Ringgold, VA; her 5 grandchildren, Cody Jensen of Ringgold, VA; Wesley (Melissa) Jensen of Clayton, NC; Ashley Jensen(Chris Lee) of Goldsboro, NC; Samantha Jensen(Ian Burney) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; Kira Singleton (Brian McClellan) of Laurel, MD; And 9 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and the love of her life.
She was warm and caring towards everyone she ever encountered and will be deeply missed.
A graveside service and interment will be held Saturday, November 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Cemetery (1021 Salem Church Rd., Cookeville, TN 38501. Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery.
