Dave Adkins

COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - David "Dave" Allen Adkins passed away on Saturday October 10, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on December 8, 1962, he will be remembered as a caring and understanding man who was always willing to help others. Above all, he took care of his family, and that steady devotion defined much of his life.

Dave worked at TRW Warehouse and enjoyed traveling for work. He was known as a hard worker with a strong work ethic, qualities that shaped both his professional life and the way he lived each day. One of the milestones he was especially proud of was moving to Tennessee 30 years ago, a place he came to love and call home.

Those who knew Dave will remember his kindness, his dependable nature, and the way he showed up for the people around him. His caring spirit and willingness to lend a hand left a lasting impression on family and friends alike.

Dave is survived by his wife, Jenny Adkins, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage; his son, Steven Adkins of Michigan; his sister, Diane; his grandchild, Finn Adkins; his great-grandchild, Jacob Suggs; and his mother, Beverly Adkins. He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Boyd Adkins.

No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.

Dave’s memory will live on in the family he loved and cared for so deeply, and in the many lives touched by his understanding heart, strong work ethic, and generous spirit.
