Don Hembree

Private graveside services and interment for Donald Edward Hembree, age 82 of Cookeville, were held Saturday September 19 at Browns Mill Cemetery. Don passed away Thursday morning September 17, 2020 at Signature Health Care of Putnam County. He was born February 9, 1938 in Hilham, TN to the late A. B. and Lilly Masters Hembree. Don was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church. He was retired from McCord-Winn in Cookeville. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie and Cindy Hembree of Cookeville, Tony and Lisa Hembree of Carthage; sister, Jane Knight; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Faye Phy Hembree; son, Mark (Meatloaf) Hembree; twin sister, Dorothy Hembree; brother, Junior Hembree; granddaughter, Monica hembree; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and Bill Sink, Irene and Charles Willeford.
