Donald Beecham

Funeral services for Donald "Don" Mack Beecham, 84 of Cookeville, will be Saturday, August 27 at 1 PM at Hampton's Crossroads Baptist Church. Interment with military honors will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 27 at the church from 10 AM until service time. There will no visitation at the funeral home. Bro. Bill Stafford and Bro. Maston Jackson will officiate. Don went home to be with Jesus on August 16, 2022 at his home. He was born on July 11, 1938 to William Buford and Annie Mae Dinwiddie Beecham, who preceded him in death, as well as his younger brother, William (Buddy) Beecham. He was an Army veteran serving from 1955 to 1958. Don was a loyal, hard-working man for many companies such as Fisher Body, Diamond Reo, C&J car haulers, Indian Trails, Leaseway Transportation, and served as President & Business Agent for Teamsters Local 580, until his retirement in 2007. He enjoyed traveling and being with his church family. He is survived by his wife, Sue, (Ursula); his daughters, Cheryl (Mani) Rose, Jillayne (Jeremy) Danbrook; his son, Dennis (Cheryl) Beecham; step-daughter, Kristina Edmonds; seven grandsons, Keegan & Kasey Rose, Dan (Heidi) Beecham and Matthew Beecham, Alex Edmonds, Jack Danbrook, and Devlin Wheeler; three grand-daughters, Kyleigh (Nick) Stejskal & Kendall Danbrook and Teaghan Wheeler; three great-grandsons, Dalton, Brooks and Baylor Beecham. Don was a longtime member of Hampton's Crossroads Baptist Church. Don accepted the Lord as his personal savior and was baptized in 2009. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
