Evelyn Gerda Allison

BAXTER CHAPEL-Evelyn Gerda Allison, 79 of Silver Point, TN passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026. Born on April 13, 1947 in Bad Homberg, Germany, she will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family who shared in her life.

Evelyn found enjoyment in working out in the yard, shopping, taking care of animals, having cookouts and spending time with her family and friends. were simple pleasures that reflected her care, energy, and the way she tended to the world around her. That time outdoors was part of the life she built and the memories her family will continue to hold close.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years (married August 11, 1964), Willie Allison of Silver Point, Tennessee. She also leaves behind her son, Willie Dale (Christy) Allison, Jr. of Baxter; her daughters, Vera Dawbarn and Angela (Jason) Cripps all of Silver Point. Evelyn’s family circle continued through her grandchildren, Tray Allison, Autumn Allison, Allison Tewell, and Aaron Taylor, and through her great-grandchildren, Rylan Allison, Jaxson Vaden, Kayson Allison, Annabelle Tewell, and Niles Dawbarn. She will be deeply missed by each of them, and her memory will remain a cherished part of their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Roper and Lydia Noll.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Baxter Chapel, 532 4th Ave. South, Baxter, Tennessee 38544. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Baxter Chapel. Entombment will also take place on September 4, 2026, at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Rev. David Torres will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tray Allison, Cris Austin, Aaron Taylor, Nicholas Cripps, Willie Allison, Jr., and Rylan Allison.

Evelyn Gerda Allison will be remembered with affection and gratitude by her family, and her life will continue to be reflected in the generations she loved.
