Funeral services for Mrs. Kezzie Evelyn Williams, 89 of Cookeville will be held Friday May 3 at 3 PM in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Carl J. Stiglich officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Williams died Tuesday morning April 30, 2013 in NHC of Cookeville. She was born August 14, 1923 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Clyde and Allie McGee Phillips. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church and retired from the Tennessee Department of Employment Security with over 40 years of service. During her retirement, she enjoyed her family, gardening, bird watching, and the company of her cats and dogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Louis Williams and her brother, Edward Phillips. Survivors include two sons, Lindsay Neil Williams of Cookeville, and Curtis and Ellen Williams of Birmingham, AL, and her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Ann "Patti"� and Tim Russell of Chattanooga; and two grandchildren, Jonas Williams and Brittain Williams. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Mrs. Williams family will receive friends Friday from 1PM until service time at the funeral home.
